<br />r' <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ACKNOWLEDGING THE DISCLOSURE BY MR. ROSS <br />KING, COUNCILMAN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF OWNERSHIP <br />OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN PROPOSED <br />URBAN RENEWAL AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS. AND FINDING NO VIOLATION OF <br />THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN SAID REGARD. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a full disclosure has been made by Mr. Ross King, Council- <br />man of the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, concerning his <br />ownership for many years of property now planned to be included within an <br />Urban Renewal Project Area within the City of San Marcos; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said ownership was not a voluntary acquisition of property <br />or in any way influenced by the location of said Urban Renewal Project <br />areas; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />1. The disclosure by Mr. Ross King, Councilman of the City Council <br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas, of ownership of certain land located <br />within proposed Neighborhood Development Program, River Area, and in <br />the proposed EI Molino Project Area, within the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />is hereby acknowledged and is entered upon the Minutes of this Council. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. The Council hereby finds upon examination of the facts concerning <br />the case. including the long ownership by Mr. Ross King of the properties in <br />question, that no conflict of interest or violation of the public interest is <br />involved in said ownership in that said ownership did not affect or influence <br />in any way the boundaries of the project areas. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this <br /> <br />25th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />May <br /> <br />, 1970. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />~Idl <br /> <br />I <br />
