r' A RESOLUTION I ACKNOWLEDGING THE DISCLOSURE BY MR. ROSS KING, COUNCILMAN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF OWNERSHIP OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN PROPOSED URBAN RENEWAL AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS. AND FINDING NO VIOLATION OF THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN SAID REGARD. WHEREAS, a full disclosure has been made by Mr. Ross King, Council- man of the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, concerning his ownership for many years of property now planned to be included within an Urban Renewal Project Area within the City of San Marcos; and WHEREAS, said ownership was not a voluntary acquisition of property or in any way influenced by the location of said Urban Renewal Project areas; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: 1. The disclosure by Mr. Ross King, Councilman of the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, of ownership of certain land located within proposed Neighborhood Development Program, River Area, and in the proposed EI Molino Project Area, within the City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby acknowledged and is entered upon the Minutes of this Council. I 2. The Council hereby finds upon examination of the facts concerning the case. including the long ownership by Mr. Ross King of the properties in question, that no conflict of interest or violation of the public interest is involved in said ownership in that said ownership did not affect or influence in any way the boundaries of the project areas.
