Hillburn on a tract of land, Lots 113 and 112, Third Division
of the Park Addition, from "R-l" (single family residential) to
"M" (Mixed). Discussion followed. It is the Commission's
feeling that a change of zoning on this property would constitute
"spot-zoning"; therefore, the Commission denied the request to
hold a Public Hearing. A map is attached.

B.

Mr. Alfonso G. DeLuna requested that a Public Hearing be held to
allow the temporary placement of a trailer house in the C.D.
Wallace Addition, Block 3, Lot 12. The request was approved by
the Commission, and a Public Hearing was set for August 4, 1970.

A request to hold a public hearing for a change of zoning was
received from Mrs. Maggie Jones on a tract of land, approximately
two acres fronting on Lamar Street bounded on the north by
Spring Lake Hills Addition, and on the southwest by San Marcos
Properties, presently zoned "R-l" (single family residential) to
"D" (mUlti-family). The Public Hearing is scheduled for
August 4, 1970.

C.

D.

Mr. Fred Gil appeared before the Commission for approval of a
mobile home site outside the City Limits next to the sewage
treatment plant. Mr. Gil wanted to know if the City had any
plans for annexation of that property. The Commission explained
that the City would probably not annex that land due to its
difficult terrain.

Sincerely yours,

'?r:)/~.
