I I I ATJr:bb 7/20/70 2000.8 /'15 1-2-1-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS ACKNOWLEDGING THE DISCLOSURE BY MAYOR HOLLIS W. SMITH OF OWNERSHIP OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN A PROPOSED URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS KNOWN AS THE EL MOLINO PROJECT AND FINDING NO VIOLA- TION OF THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN SAID REGARD . WHEREAS, a full disclosure has been made by Mayor Hollis W. Smith concerning his ownership since January 19, 1967, of property now planned to be included in a proposed Urban Renewal Project known as the El Molino Project within the City of San Marcos; and WHEREAS, said ownership was in no way influenced by the location of said Urban Renewal Project and the said Hollis W. Smith has heretofore certified that he would participate in no action affecting such property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS: 1. The disclosure by Mayor Hollis W. Smith of ownership of that property known as all of Lot 10 in the Southwest one- half of Lot 11 in the J. W. Cape Addition of the City of San Marcos, which is proposed to be included within the Urban Renewal Renewal Agency's E1 Molino Project, is hereby acknowledged and is entered upon the Minutes of this Council. 2. This Council hereby finds upon examination of the facts concerning the case that no conflict of interest or violation of the public interest is involved in said ownership, and that said property was acquired prior to the designation of such . Project and was in no way influenced by such Project or in the designation of the boundaries of the Project Area. 3. The Council, in addition, acknowledges that the said Hollis W.
