Drive and Chestnut Street. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was reeorded: AYE: NAY: ABSTAIN: Breihan, Cunningham, Dibrell, Craddock, Flores, Sutton None Hansen The Mayor opened a Public Hearing to eonsider a request for a change in zoning of part of Lot 5, Bloek 9 of the Original Town of San Marcos from I "c" to "C-2". The applicant, J.W. Henry, was present to request the change and represented by attorney Gerald Klossner. Harris Koeh and Elmer Satterwhite were present to object to the zoning ehange, Mr. Koch stating that the change would eontribute to parking problems in the downtown business area. The Mayor closed the hearing and read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF BLOCK 9, PART OF LOT 5 OF THE ORTCINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS ADDITION LOCATED AT 101 SOUTH LB.J. FROM "c" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C-2" (COMMERCIAL). Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Cunningham seconded the motion. On roll eall, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Breihan, Cunningham, Craddock, Flores, Hansen, Sutton NAY: Dibrell The Mayor declared the motion passed and the Ordinance approved on first reading. Mayor Craddock read the eaption of an Ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER lB OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, ENTITLED "PARKS AND RECREATION", BY REPEALING SECTION 18-1 AND SUBSTITUTING IN ITS STEAD A NEW SECTION I ENTITLED 18-1 "CLOSING PUBLIC PARKS BETWEEN CERTAIN HOURS WITH ENUMERATED EXllEPTIONS THERETO". Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Ordinance. Mr. Hansen seeonded the motion which passed unanimously. The Ordinance was declared approved on second reading. The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 18. OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY ENTITLED "PARKS AND RECREATION", BY ENACTING A NEW SECTION NUMBERED 18-2 ENTITLED "PROHIBITING DISRUPTIVE CONDUCT, ETC.". Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Ordinance on second reading. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor C~addock read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY ENTITLED "PARKS AND RECREATION", BY ENACTING A NEW SECTION NUMBERED 18-3 ENTITLED "CARE AND CUSTODY OF MINOR CHILDREN AT CITY POOLS". Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Ordinance on second reading. Mr. Flores seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY ENTITLED "PARKS AND RECREATION", BY ENACTING A NEW SECTION NUMBERED 18-4 ENTITLED "CONTROL OF ANIMALS IN PUBLIC PARKS".
