161 regular meeting, february 24, 1975 page three The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF TIlAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF PART OF LOT 2, BLOCK 11 OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS, LOCATED AT 100 NORTH GUADALUPE STREET, FROM "c" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C-2" (COMMERCIAL). Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Ordinance on third and fin~l reading. Mr. Flores seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. I Mr. Breihan moved approval of the appointment of Mr. C.A. Sellers to the Building Code Board of Adjustment and Appeals. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. B.F. Davidson came before the Council to request authorization for the City staff to prepare amendments to the Zoning Ordinance as an interim measure until, the new zoning ordinance could be prepared. Mayor Craddock suggested the topic be placed on a future workshop agenda so that the Council could discuss specific, amendatory measures. The Mayor announced that Senate Bill 115 would be heard before the Legislature on February 25, and that persons interested in that legislation relating to the Lower Colorado River Authority might wish to attend. Mayor Craddock also announced that she had been contacted by the administration of San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District with regard to the possibility of the District making use of the City reappraisal figures on real property, on a pro-rata cost basis.
