Appointment of citizen committee to study zoning ordinance. <br />Mr. Breihan requested the Council consider appointment of such a <br />committee, to be composed of five members, at the next regular meeting. <br /> <br />G. Contract for 1974-l975 audit. The City Manager reported that the <br />contract for services with Peat, Marwick and Mitchel had not been <br />received. The Council requested the City Manager formally request the <br />contract for review by the City Attorney, <br /> <br />H. Fixed Asset Inventory. Mr. Sutton moved the City Manager be <br />authorized to immediately begin to interview firms to be considered <br />by the Council for assistance in conducting a fixed assets inventory, <br />Dr. Craddock seconded the motion, which passed unanimously, <br /> <br />-I <br /> <br />I. Extension of utilities to' newly annexed property including Westover <br />Addition and the tract along the old Uhland Road east of I.H. 35. <br />The Council discussed the present policy of property owner participation <br />in the cost of extension of utilities. <br /> <br />J. Schedule of bidding process for extension of sewer line to Hays <br />County Civic Center, The Director of Public Works reported that the plans <br />and specifications were presently being drawn so the project could be <br />let for bidding. It was noted that the extension could not be made in <br />time for Chilympiad in September. <br /> <br />K. Schedule of bidding process for renovation of Cock House, The City <br />Manager reported that he and the City Attorney had been in contact with <br />the Texas Historical Commission regarding renovation of the structure, <br />that one more meeting with the Commission was scheduled, and that the <br />staff was hopeful that the advertisement to bidders could be published <br />by July 24-25. <br /> <br />L. Policy regarding repair of City street and private property damaged <br />by utilities companies. The City Manager suggested the Council consider <br />adoption of an Ordinance to deal with the problem. By common consent, he <br />was authorized to proceed with work on such a proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for discussion consideration of setting dates for <br />workshop sessions to discuss the 1975-1976 Budget.
