The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock issued a Proclamation naming December 1-5, 1975, "Voice of Democracy Week". the observance being sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. I The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 10, 1975, were approved .on motion of Mr. Sutton and second of Mr. Hansen. Mayor Pro Tem Luciano Flores read a Resolution, the caption of which is as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, EXPRESSING ITS APPRECIATION TO THE GARY JOB CORPS CENTER AND CORPSMEN FOR WORK PERFORMED IN PURGATORY CREEK AND AT THE BASEBALL FIELD AT SAN MARCOS HIGIi SCHOOL. Mr. Flores moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Flores next introduced Mr. Al Perkins, Center Director and Mr. Ted Turman, also of Gary Job Corps Center, with corpsmen who assisted in the projects described in the Resolution. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a re~uest for a temporary permit to locate a mobile home on Lot 17 of the Williamson Addition, corner of Earle and Baylor street. The applicant, Houston Ellis, was present. No objection was presented to the re~uest. Mr. Sutton moved the re~uest be approved. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEYAS, AUTHORIZING A REALLOCATION OF REVENUE SHARING FUNDS RECEIVED FROM ENTITLEMENT PERIOD #6 IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,000 HERETOFORE ALLOCATED TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A ROAD AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO USE IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF AIRPORT BUILDINGS TO BE LOCATED AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORI'. Mr. Breihan moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
