<br />150 <br /> <br />regular meeting, november 24, 1975 <br /> <br />page three <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock announced that since many persons had expressed a concern for the <br />deterioration of the downtown business area, she was appointing a committee to <br />study the situation and report to the Council regarding possible restoration. <br />Dr. Craddock informed those present that the appointments would probably be made <br />in one week or ten days, and that the committee would consist of about fifteen <br />members. She encouraged the Council to assist by recommending persons to serve. <br /> <br />Don Laine, representative of Harold Simpson Company, came before the Council to <br />present the 1974-1975 audit of city finances. The official copy of that document <br />may be found in the official files of the City. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND <br />RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, <br />DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 4, 5 AND 6, <br />BLOCK T OF THE C.D. WALLACE ADDITION, LOCATED AT 208 LAREDO STREET, <br />FROM "R::l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO "P_2f1 (PUBLIC USE). <br /> <br />Mr. Arredondo moved approval of the Ordinance on second reading.
