Mr. Barbee stated <br />that above action was entered in the minut~s of the meeting of the County. <br />He also stated that the City is to buy the wire fpr the fence that will <br />be needed, which will cost approxima'tely ~~76.oo. Alderman Smith made a motion <br />that the above be accepted and approved. Alderman Beecroft seconded the <br />motion. A vote was taken wh~ch resulted unanimously in favor of the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. C. B. Johnson then requested that the Council take action on I <br />awarding the contract for Cone Mills water and sewer extensions. <br />Alderman Allen made a motion that contradt be awarded to John Meents <br />Construction Co. in the amount of &i30,,?65.75. Alderman Beecroft seconded <br />the motion. A vote was taken'which resulted unanimously in favor of' the <br />motion. Alderman Allen then made a motion that a resolution awarding <br />contract be adopted. Alderman Beecroft seconded the motion. A vote was <br />taken which resulted unanimously in favor of the motion. The resolution <br />follows these minutes. <br /> <br />Alderman Allen then made a motion that a warrant ordinance authorizing <br />the issuance of warrants in the pr1ncipal sum of *;35,000.00 for the purpose <br />of evidencing t;1.e indebtedness of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to be incurI'ed <br />in construction extensions and improvements to the waterworks system and the <br />:fit <br />
