<br />I- <br />I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />!~ <br /> <br />FIFTEENTH. The terms of this franchise-ordinance shall not apply <br />nor be applicable to any motor vehicle licensed or franchised by the <br />Railroad Commission of the state of Texas to operate upon the public <br />highways of the state of Texas. <br />SIXTEENTH. All rights, duties and liabilities granted under this <br />franchise-ordinance, are. of course, subject to and governed by the <br />ordinances of the City of San Marcos and the statutes and constitu- <br />tions of the State of Texas and the United states. This is,-.tneant to <br />specially include compliance by the grantee, his heirs and assigns. <br />with Article 6687b of the Civil statutes of the State of Texas, said <br />article dealing, among other things, with the requirement of chauffeur's <br />licenses for all drivers of passenger motor busses. <br />SEVENTEENTH. If any section, paragraph. sentence or phrase of <br />this franchise-ordinance be invalid or unconstitutional. then such <br />invalid or unconstitutional protion shall not in any way effect the <br />remainder of this franchise-ordinance, and it is hereby declared as <br />the intention of the City Council of the City of San Marcos that the <br />remainder of this franchise-ordinance would have been passed by the <br />City Council notwithstanding the invalidity of any such section. <br />paragraph, sentence, or phrase. <br /> <br />I J <br />I <br /> <br />, <br />
