Alderman Smith seconded the motion. A vote was taken which resulted unanimously in favor of the motion. Alderman Smith made a motion that the Council adopt a resolution to be sent to Ernest Morgan and Tom Oliver, expreSSing the gratitude of the Council for the excellent job in the C; C. Holt suit agains t the City. Alderman Allen seconded the motion. A vote was taken which resul ted unanimously in favor of 1:<"1e motion. The re so lution follows these minutes and is a part hereof. I Mr. Barbee stated that Leathel Roberts had told him that, if the City would pave the street on up to his property line, he would agree to let that street be a public street. The City would have approximately Ii blocks to pave. Mr. Roberts stated that he \~uld pave the streets in his sub-division later on. Alderman De Viney made a motion that the City agree to finish the street up to L. Roberts property line, which will be approximately lit blocks, if Mr. Roberts will agree to let that street be a public street. Alderman Smith seconded the motion. A vote was taken which resulted unanimously in favor of the motion. Mr. Ilarbee stated that Mr. Price has inquired as to whether or not the Council would approve the Telephone Co.'s installing a pay phone station in the lobby of the City Hall. Mr. Barbee stated that the booth would be open at all times and for the use of everyone. Alderman Smith made a motion that the Council approve theinstalla- tion of a pay phone station in the lobby of the City Hall. Alderman Beecroft seconded the motion. A vote was taken which resulted unanimously in favor of the motion. I There was a discussion on Pete Peterson' s property which is located near the City Park. It was reported that a partial survey of the land showed the. t there is no t as muen land exi sting as is shown on the plats and deeds. Alderman Hill suggested that Mr. Morgan be requested to write to New Braunfels Savings & Loan Associa- tion giving notice of situation that has been discovered. He also suggested that Pete Peterson be given notice. The Council unanimously agreed that a survey should be made by the City of the land in the park. ..
