Alderman Smith seconded <br />the motion. A vote was taken which resulted unanimously in favor <br />of the motion. <br /> <br />Alderman Smith made a motion that the Council adopt a resolution <br />to be sent to Ernest Morgan and Tom Oliver, expreSSing the gratitude <br />of the Council for the excellent job in the C; C. Holt suit agains t <br />the City. Alderman Allen seconded the motion. A vote was taken <br />which resul ted unanimously in favor of 1:<"1e motion. The re so lution <br />follows these minutes and is a part hereof. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Barbee stated that Leathel Roberts had told him that, if <br />the City would pave the street on up to his property line, he would <br />agree to let that street be a public street. The City would have <br />approximately Ii blocks to pave. Mr. Roberts stated that he \~uld <br />pave the streets in his sub-division later on. Alderman De Viney <br />made a motion that the City agree to finish the street up to L. Roberts <br />property line, which will be approximately lit blocks, if Mr. Roberts <br />will agree to let that street be a public street. Alderman Smith <br />seconded the motion. A vote was taken which resulted unanimously in <br />favor of the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Ilarbee stated that Mr. Price has inquired as to whether or <br />not the Council would approve the Telephone Co.'s installing a pay <br />phone station in the lobby of the City Hall. Mr. Barbee stated <br />that the booth would be open at all times and for the use of everyone. <br />Alderman Smith made a motion that the Council approve theinstalla- <br />tion of a pay phone station in the lobby of the City Hall. <br />Alderman Beecroft seconded the motion. A vote was taken which <br />resulted unanimously in favor of the motion. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />There was a discussion on Pete Peterson' s property which is <br />located near the City Park. It was reported that a partial survey <br />of the land showed the. t there is no t as muen land exi sting as is <br />shown on the plats and deeds. Alderman Hill suggested that Mr. <br />Morgan be requested to write to New Braunfels Savings & Loan Associa- <br />tion giving notice of situation that has been discovered. He also <br />suggested that Pete Peterson be given notice. The Council unanimously <br />agreed that a survey should be made by the City of the land in the <br />park. <br /> <br />.. <br />
