<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />7-/7 <br /> <br />the indebtedness hereby evidenced, from the special "street <br />Improvement Warrants, Series of 1955, Fund," of said City, levied, <br />assessed and created for that purpose. <br />This warrant is one of a series of 40 warrants, numbered <br />consecutively from 1 to 40, inclusive, in the denomination of <br />One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars each, aggregating Forty Thousand <br />($40,000.00) Dollars, issued for the purpose of paying claims <br />incurred by the City of San Marcos, Texas, in constructing street <br />improvements in said City, under and by virtue of the Constitution <br />and Laws of the State of Texas, and in pursuance of an ordinance <br />passed by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, which <br />ordinance is recorded in the Minutes of said City Council. <br />The date of this warrant, in conformity with said ordinance, <br /> <br />is April 15, 1955. <br />AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED that all acts, con- <br />ditions and things required to be done precedent to and in the <br />issuance of this warrant, have been properly done, have happened <br />and been performed in regular and due time, form. and manner, as <br /> <br />provided by law, and that the total indebtedness of said City, <br />including this warrant, does not exceed any constitutional or <br />statutory limitation. <br />IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has <br />caused the corporate seal of said City to be affixed hereto, and <br />this warrant, to be signed by its Mayor, countersigned by the <br /> <br />City Secretary, and registered by <br /> <br />as of the <br /> <br />15th day of April, 1955. <br /> <br /> <br />exas <br /> <br />COUNTERSIGNED: <br /> <br />City Secretary, C1 ty or San Marcos, <br />Texas <br /> <br />REGISTERED: <br /> <br />C1 ty Treasurer, 01 ty or San Marcos, <br />Texas <br />
