For the purposes of ascertaining that the rights <br />and privileges granted in this ordinance shall be and remain with- <br />in the bounds thereof and for such other purposes as are lawful <br />the City council may inspect and examine or cause to be inspected <br />and examined at all reasonable hours all books of account of such <br />grantees, which books of account shall be kept and such reports <br />made as shall be required by said city in accordance with the <br />forms and methods prescribed by the City council. <br />Section 6. It is specially provided that this grant and franchise <br />shall not be in force for any business or operations beside those <br />hereinabove described and especially that it shall not be for a <br />transfer business within the City of San Marcos or within a terri- <br />tory the bounds of which are not distant more than three miles from <br />the city limits; nor shall it be for the carrying or transportation <br />of any passengers or persons whatsoever beside employees of <br />said grantees engaged in their said business. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />This the 20th day of April, A.
