After <br />discussion on this matter and a :>:>eview of the contract,wiL'1 Mr. <br />Cooper, the Counci 1 unanimous ly agre ed to turn the illS t te rover <br />to Ernest loorgan, City Attorney, and that no more payments are <br />to be made to Mr. Cooper, until further notice from the Council. <br /> <br />Bids on the recreation bldg. for the park were opened by <br />Mr. Morgan. Lorenz <br /> <br />After a study of these bids, Alderman Beecroft made a motion <br />that Horace Howard's bid in the amount of $4l,886.7S, be accepted <br />subject to the approval of the architect, Mr. Victor Dowers. <br />Alderman Smith seconded the motion. The Council reco~~ended several changes before the lease <br />agreement is to be executed. It recommended that the agreement <br />state that the City may have possession of the land at any time <br />in the future if it is needed, and that the land be used for grazing <br /> <br />and farming purposes only. <br /> <br />There was a discussion on purchasing the highway right-of-way. <br />The Council agreed that the highway right-of-way co~~itt8e should <br />
