After discussion on this matter and a :>:>eview of the contract,wiL'1 Mr. Cooper, the Counci 1 unanimous ly agre ed to turn the illS t te rover to Ernest loorgan, City Attorney, and that no more payments are to be made to Mr. Cooper, until further notice from the Council. Bids on the recreation bldg. for the park were opened by Mr. Morgan. They were as fol '.ows: Horace C. Howard ,-p 41,836.75 $ 4~-,915.00 :1. R. Lorenz After a study of these bids, Alderman Beecroft made a motion that Horace Howard's bid in the amount of $4l,886.7S, be accepted subject to the approval of the architect, Mr. Victor Dowers. Alderman Smith seconded the motion. A vote was taken which resulted unanimously in favor of the motion. The Council reviowed the letters received from the people who accepted appointments to.the Planning and Zoning Commission. The names were the followIng! Paul J. :logers .-t. J. ?ollar'd J. R. The Council reco~~ended several changes before the lease agreement is to be executed. It recommended that the agreement state that the City may have possession of the land at any time in the future if it is needed, and that the land be used for grazing and farming purposes only.
