I I I ~,f0 ELECTION RETURNS THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS CITY OF SAN MARCOS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: We, the undersigned officers, holding an election on the 20th day of July, 1955, at the Library Building, Voting Precinct No. 10, in the City of San Marcos, Texas, to determine if the said City shall issue the bonds of said City in the amount of $350,000 for the purpose of paying the cost of constructing street improvements, including the purchase of right-of-way, and all necessary expenses in connection therewith, for U. S. Highway No. Bl, within said City, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that at said election there were cast: "FOR THE ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF..... "AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS AND THE LEVYING OF THE TAX IN PAYMENT THEREOF~.... '3~ tfJ VOTES VOTES WE FURTHER CERTIFY that only resident qualified property taxpaying voters of said City, who own taxable property therein subject to taxation, and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, were permitted to vote at said election. WE HEREWITH ENCLOSE poll list and tally sheet of said election. WITNESS OUR HANDS this 20th day of July, 1955.
