TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE DELIVERY OF CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS SERIES OF. 1.955. TO <br />EVIDENCE SAIDIND./lli'r.t;DNESS; AND DEbLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, heretofore on the 20th day of April, 1955, ,the City <br />Council of the City of San Marcos. Texas, passed an ordinance <br /> <br />authorizing the issuance of CITY OF SAN MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT <br />WARRANTS. SERIES OF 1955, dated April 15. 1955. Numbered 1 to 40, <br />inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, aggregating <br />$40,000.00, bearing 3-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing <br />$10,000.00 on April 15th in each of the years 1972 to 1975, both <br />inclusive, for the purpos,eof paying claims to be incurred by the <br />City of San Marcos in constructing street improvements in said <br />City; which ordinance is of record in Book 19, page 587A, et seq., <br />Minutes of said City Council; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following claims, duly verified, have been <br /> <br />presented to the City Council of ii1id City; <br />
