" <br /> <br />Numbers 6 to 12, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, <br />aggregating $7,000.00, eVidencing the indebtedness due by the <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, to said First National Bank, San Marcos, <br />Texas, as assignee of said claims; and that the excess of $416.60 <br />as shown by said list of claims, be carried forward to the next <br />exchange of claims for warrants. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />That the City of San Marcos having received full value and <br />consideration for the warrants hereinabove described, the City <br />Treasurer is hereby authorized and instructed to register said <br />warrants, and after registration thereof, to deliver same to the <br />First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, and the Mayor, City <br /> <br />Secretary, and City Treasurer, are hereby authorized to execute <br /> <br />such other and further instruments, certificates and statements <br /> <br />as shall be necessary, convenient or appropriate to reflect the <br /> <br />entire validity of said warrants. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />BY reason of the fact that the City Council of the City of <br /> <br />San Marcos, Texas, considers the passage of this ordinance <br /> <br />necessary for the general welfare of said City and of its <br /> <br />citizens, it is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br /> <br />demanding that the rule requiring ordinances to be read at more <br />than one meeting of the City council be suspended, and that this <br />ordinance take effect immediately from and after its passage, and <br /> <br />it is <br /> <br /> <br />ATT, EST:, ~", ' <br />~7 ' <br />~. <br />
