<br />, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />"CITY OF SAN MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS, SERIES OF 1955, <br />Numbers 31 to 40, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, <br />aggregating $10,000.00, evidencing the indebtedness due by the <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, to said First National Bank, San <br />Marcos, 'I'exas, as assignee of said claims; <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />That the City of San Marcos having received full value and <br /> <br />consideration for the warrants hereinabove described, the City <br />Treasurer is hereby authorized and instructed to register said <br />warrants, and after registration thereof, to deliver same to <br />the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, and the Mayor, City <br />Secretary and City Treasurer, are hereby authorized to execute <br />such other and further instruments, certificates and statements <br />as shall be necessary, convenient or appropriate to reflect the <br /> <br />entire validity of said warrants. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />By reason of the fact that the City Council of the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas, considers the passage of this ordinance <br /> <br />necessary for the general welfare of said City and of its <br />citizens, it is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />demanding that the rule requiring ordinances to be read at more <br />than one meeting of the City Council be suspended, and that this <br />ordinance take effect immediately from and, after, its passage, <br /> <br />and it is so ordained, <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this <br /> <br />1956, <br /> <br />A~ <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />
