<br />I <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />We, the undersigned officers of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />DO HEREBY CERTIFY that we did officially sign $10,000 CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS, SERIES OF 1955 (being <br />part of a total authorized issue of $40,000.00), dated April 15, <br />1955, Numbered 31 to 40, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 <br />each, bearing 3-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing on April 15, <br />1975; and that we were at the date of such signatures the duly <br />chosen, qualified and acting officers indicated therein and <br />authorized to execute the same. <br /> <br />WE FURTHER CERTIFY that claims incurred in the construction <br /> <br />>> <br /> <br />of street improvements in the City of San Marcos have been duly <br />audi ted and allowed and declared to be the lawful "ihdebtedness <br />of the City of San Marcos, and said indebtedness has been <br />evidenced by the issuance and delivery to the First National Bank, <br />San Marcos, Texas, the holder of said claims, of CITY OF SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS STREET IMPROVEMENT WARRANTS, SERIES OF 1955, dated April <br />15, 1955, NuIilbers 31 to 40, inclusive, in the denomination of <br />$1,000 each, aggregating $10,000.00, and that said City of San <br />Marcos has received full value and consideration for said <br /> <br />Warrants Numbers 31 to 40, inclusive. <br />That there is no litigation pending or threatened growing <br />out of the issuance of said warrants nor in any way affecting <br />the titles of the within named officers to their respective <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />offices. <br /> <br />WITNESS <br /> <br /> <br />of San Marcos, <br /> <br />Texas, this <br /> <br />Mayor <br />'~'C1>ty Secretary <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />City Treasurer <br />
