1 J I I, That the claims hereinabove listed incurred in the construc- tion of fire stations and the purchase of sites therefor, in the City of San Marcos, including architect's fee in connection therewith, in the total amount of $10,54~.50, be and the same are hereby allowed and approved and declared to be the lawful indebtedness of said City; and that the assignment of. said claims to the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, be and the same is hereby approved and accepted. II. That in accordance herewith and with the ordinance of the City Council passed September 7, 1955, there shall be executed and delivered to the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, Numbers 1 to 10, inclusive, in the denomination of $1,000 each, aggre- gating $10,000.00, eVidencing the indebtedness due by the City of San Marcos, Texas, to said First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, as assignee of said claimsj and that the excess of $549.50, as shown by said list of claims, be carried forward to the next exchange of claims for warrants. I!!. That the City of San Marcos having received full value and consideration for the warrants hereinabove described, the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and instructed to register said warrants, and after registration thereof, to deliver same to the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, and the Mayor, City Secretary and City Treasurer are hereby authorized to execute such other and further instruments, certificates and statements as shall be necessary, convenient or appropriate to reflect the entire validity of said warrants.
