I I J , ~I! .. ORDER FOR CITY OFFICERS' ELECTION THE STATE OF TEXAS <XlUNTY OF HAYS CITY OF SAN MAR<XlS I, Frank E. Dietterich, in my capacity as Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, do hereby order that an election be held in said City on the 3rd day of April, 1956, for the purpose of electing the following officials for said CitYI Three Aldermenl Alderman Place No. 3 Alderman Place No. 4 Alderman Place No. 5 That in accordance with an order adopted by tlJe City Council of said City, said election shall be held at the following places in said City, and the following named persons are hereby appointed officers for said election. In Election Precinct No. 10, at the City Library BUilding, in said City, with Marion McGee as Presiding Judge, W. H. Tiner as Assistant Judge. In Election Precinct No. 11, at Carl S. Smith's Residence, 301 W. San Antonio, in said City, with Carl S. Smith as Presiding judge, Mrs. May Withers as Assistant Judge, and Miss Lola Petty as Clerk. In Election Precinct No. 12, at the County Court House, in said City, with Mrs. A. F. Weatherford as Presiding Judge and Mrs. Harold Gosdin as Assistant Judge. In Election Preinct No. l3, at the City Hall Building, in said City, with Mrs. W. E. Turner as Presiding Judge, Mrs. Frank Gensberg as Assistant Judge, and Mrs. Henry Bales and Mrs. Hazel Williams as Clerks. That said election shall be held in accordance with the Election Code of this state and only resident qualified voters of said City shall be eligible to vote at said election. That the City Secretary shall give notice of said election by posting a copy of this order in each of the election precincts of said City, which posting shall be done not less than 30 days prior to date fixed for said election. That immediately after said election is held, the officers holding the same shall make returns of the result thereof to the City council of this city as required by the Election Code of this state.
