<br />capacity as Mayor of the City
<br />of San Marcos, Texas, do here-
<br />by order that an €ledion be held
<br />in said City on the 3rd day of
<br />April, 1956, for the purpose of
<br />el~cting the following officials
<br />for said city:

<br />I Code of. this state and only resi-
<br />I dent qualified voters of said City
<br />shall be eligible to vote at said
<br />election.

<br />I give notice of said. election by
<br />; posting a copy of this order in
<br />each of the election precincts oj
<br />said City, which posting shan be
<br />done not less than 30 days prior
<br />to date fixed for said election.
<br />That' immediately after said
<br />election is held, the officers
<br />holding- the same shall make re-
<br />turns of the result- thereof to the
<br />City Council of this city as re-
<br />quired by the Election Code of
<br />this state.
<br />A copy of this order shan also
<br />serve as a writ of election which
<br />shall be delivered to the above
<br />appointed Presiding Judg~s for
<br />said election.
