These suction tubes to have brass chromium-plated caps with long <br />handles. Pump is equipped with two quarter-turn discharge <br />valves made of brass and threaded 2~1I N.S.; One valve~ on left of Chassis <br />and one on the right. The valve on right side. to be of ~ ~ ~. <br />Each valve to be equipped with brass chromium-plated cap. <br /> <br />JllJTOMATIC RELIEF VALVE.. .To be of set pressure type, - quick, positive and smooth in <br />operation at any desired pressure within the range encountered in fire fighting. <br /> <br />PRIMING SYSTEM...To be of the positive displacement type with auxiliary oiling system. <br />A check valve is placed in this oiling system to prevent pressure forcing <br />water from main pump into the priming oil tank. The ptirning valve is placed <br />between the priming system and the centrifugal pump. The priming valve <br />control is on the operator I s panel. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />PUMP GEAR SHIFT.. .The pump shifting lever is located in the cab. Also, it has a <br />locking device to hold it in gear. The priming device is vacuum clutch <br />operated with push button control mounted on pump operating panel. <br /> <br />~.. . Two chromiwn-plated gauges are furnished; one of which is an Soolb. combi- <br />nation pressure and vacuum gauge attached to pump discharge manifold. The <br />other 400 lb. combination pressure and vacuum gauge attached to the pump in- <br />take manifold.
