I AND WHEREAS, the City Council has duly ascertained and determined that said claims were incurred in the construction of fire stations, including architect's fee in connection therewith, in the City of San Marcos, as contemplated and authorized by the aforesaid ordinance of September 7, 1955; and, WHEREAS, said claims have been duly aUditfd and have been found and determined to be valid and unpaid claims against said I City of San Marcos; and, WHEREAS, said claims in the aggregate amount of $8,868.17 have been duly and legally transferred and assigned to the FIRST NATIONAL BANK, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; and, WHEREAS, it was proVided in said ordinance above referred to that said warrants above described should be executed, issued and delivered in payment of claims duly approved, audited and allowed by the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve and allow said claims and to authorize the delivery of CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS to evidence said indebtedness; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I. That the claims hereinabove listed incurred in the construc- tion of fire stations in the City of San Marcos, including architect's fee in connection therewith, in the total amount of $8,868.17, be and the same are hereby allowed and approved and declared to be the lawful indebtedness of said City; and that the assignment of said claims to the First National Bank, San l Marcos, Texas, be and the same is hereby approved and accepted. II. That in accordance with this ordinance and with the ordinance of the. City Council passed September 7, 1955, there shall be executed and delivered to the First National Bank, San Marcos, Texas, CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT
