The ordinance is as follows: AN ORDINANCE AUDITING AND ALLOWING CLAIMS FOR INDEBTEDNESS INCURRED IN CONSTRUCTING FIRE STATIONS IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, INCLUDING ARCHITECT'S FEE IN CONNECTION THERE- WITH, AUTHORIZING THE DELIVERY OF CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION, AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, ,TO EVIDENCE SAID INDEBTEDNESS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCYI ---~---------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS, heretofore on September 7, 1955, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, passed an ordinance authorizing the issuance of CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS dated August 15, 1955, Numbered 1 to 85, inclusive, in the denombation of $1,000 each, aggregating $85,000.00, bearing 3-1/2% interest per annum, and maturing on August 15th, $10,000 in 1975 and $25,000 in each of the years 1975 to 1977, inclusive, for the purpose of evidencing the indebtedness of the City of San Marcos to be incurred in constructing fire stations and purchasing sites therefor in said City, including architect's fee in connection therewith, and purchasing fire equipment for the City; which ordinance is of record in Book 19, page 66, et seq., Minutes of said City Council; and, WHEREAS, the following claims, duly verified, have been presented to the City Council of said City: DATE PAYEE PURPOSE AMOUNT 6-12-56 HORACE C.
