<br />-l <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />PUBLISH NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE <br />REFUNDING BONDS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />On this the <br /> <br />,,, <br /> <br />day of '~DeGembe:t', 1956, the City Council <br /> <br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas, convened in regular session at <br /> <br />the regular meeting place thereof with the following members <br /> <br />present, to-wit: <br /> <br />Calvin M. Allen <br /> <br />, Mayor, <br /> <br />S. R. Beecroft <br /> <br />B. D~ Hillburn <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Herman. Korff <br /> <br />Aldermen, <br /> <br />W. MJ Davis <br /> <br />, City Secretary. <br /> <br />and the following absent: <br /> <br />constituting a quorum, and, among other business transacted, the <br /> <br />following resolution was adopted: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br /> <br />has heretofore passed an ordinance authorizing the issuance of <br /> <br />.1..... f, <br />r " <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS FIRE STATION AND EQUIPMENT WARRANTS, dated <br />August 15, 1955, Numbered 1 to 85, inclusive, in the denomination <br />of $1,000 each, aggregating $85.000.00, bearing 3-1/2% interest <br />per annum, and maturing on August 15th, $10,000 in 1974, and <br />$25,000 in each of the years 1975 to 1977, inclusive, all of whichs <br /> <br />warrants are .now outstanding and unpaid; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable and to the best <br /> <br />interest of the City of San Marcos to cancel the above described <br />outstanding warrants by the issuance of refunding bonds in lieu <br /> <br />thereof; and. <br />
