<br />, ~ <br /> <br />-l <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proper and necessary that the City give notice <br /> <br /> <br />of its intention to issue .such refunding bonds; <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />That the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized, ordered and <br />directed to do all things necessary and/or convenient to have <br />published the notice required by Chapter 163, Acts of the Regular <br />Session of the Forty-second Legislature, as amended; that said <br />notice shall specify the amount and purpose of the bonds, the rate <br />of interest, and maximum maturity of the bonds; and it shall be <br />published in a newspaper of general circulation published in the <br />City of San Marcos. Texas, once a week for three (3) consecutive <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />weeks, with the date Of first publication being at least thirty <br />(30) full days prior to the date of the passage of the ordinance <br />authorizing the issuance of the bonds; and that said notice shall <br />be substantially in words and figures as shown in the form <br /> <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />The above resolution being read, it was moved by Alderman <br /> <br />Hi llburn <br /> <br />and seconded by Alderman <br />that same do pass. Thereupon, the <br /> <br />Beecroft <br /> <br />question being called for, the following members of the City <br /> <br />Council voted AYE: <br /> <br />S. T.
