The property hereby leased is to be used by the Lessee for <br />the training of military aviation personnel and such use is to be joint. <br />ly with Lessor, its lessees and permittees, and subject to the coneli.. <br />Hons and restrictions hereinafter set forth. <br />3. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD tne said premises for the term beginning <br />~~:.{ /0 , 1957, and ending ,..:t 9 . 1962. It <br />is further agreed between the parties hereto that if Lessee shall <br />desire to continue this lease after the expiratiQn of said term for <br />another term of five (5) years, he shan have the right and privilege <br />so to do, in the manner snd upon the conditions following; that is to <br />say: He shall, not less than ~ (Ja) days before the expira- <br />tion of said first term, give to the Lessor notice in writing of his <br />desire and election to continue this lease for such additional term of <br />fi.ve (5) years. and thereupon without any further act this lease <br />shall be extended for a further term of five (5) years, upon the same <br />terms and conditions in all things as before. <br />4. TIle Lessee shall pay the Lessor the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) <br />for the full five year term of this lease, the receipt and sUfficie1'lcy <br />of ~n\ich are hereby aCknowledged and confessed by the Lessor. <br />5. The Lessee may terminate this lease at any time by giving <br />thixty (30) days advance notice in 'l'i'riting of his intention so to do <br /> <br />to the Lessor. <br /> <br />6. All additions, altexations and improvements of any kind what- <br />soever placed on the leased pxemises by the Lessee during the term of <br />this lease shall xemain the property of the Lessee, and shall not <br />become the property of the Lessor; pxovided, however, upon expira- <br />tion or termination of the lease, that any such additions. alterations <br />or :ilPprovements may be abandoned by the Lessee and left on the Lessor' s <br />premises without any obligation on the part of the Lessee to remove <br />same or 'restore ~~e premises to the condition existing at the incep- <br />tion of the lease, in which event sny such additions, alterations. or <br />improvements so abandoned shall then become the property of the Lessor. <br />The term "Lessee" shall be defined as the original lessee, or the <br />Government upon assignment under this lease, or a third party under <br />au assignment of this lease. <br />7. Payment by the Lessee of the cost of maintaining the leased <br />premises, and for the use of all utilities and services furnished to <br />the Lessee by Lessor, shall be in accordance with and limited to the <br />-?- <br />
