No streets names shall be used which will duplicate or be <br /> <br /> <br />confused with the names of existing streets Street names shall <br /> <br /> <br />be subject to approval of the City CounciL <br />11. Alleys shall be minimum width of fifteen (15) feet and <br />shall be provided in commercial and industrial districts and in <br />residential districts whenever adequate land is available for the <br />platting of an alley. <br />12. Dead-end alleys shall be avoided where possible, but if <br />unavoidable, shall be provided with adequate turn-around facilities <br />at the dead-end as determined by the City Council. <br />13. When alleys are provided in the subdivision, all utilities <br />shall be installed in said alleys if the topography is favorable. <br />14. Where alleys are not provided, easements of not less than <br />seven and one-half (7t) feet in width, or wider!f necessary, shall <br />be provided on each side of the rear lot lines and side lines for <br />utilities. All utilities shall be installed in said easements or <br />alleys 0 <br /> <br />SECTION C. Blocks and Lots <br /> <br />The blocks and lots of subdivisions shall conform substantially <br />with the following design standards I <br />1. the desirable maximum block length is twelve hundred (1200) <br />feet and the desirable minimum length is six hundred (600) feet. <br />2. Residential lots shall not be less than fifty (50) feet in <br />width and not less that five thousand seven hundred fifty (5750) square <br />feet in area and residential corner lots shall be sixty (60) feet in <br />width and not less than six thousand nine hundred (6900) square feet <br />in area; provided that residential lots not served by public sewerage <br />system and located in a subdivision which will not be served immediately <br />by a central disposal unit shall be not less than sixty (60) feet <br />wide and not less than nine thousand (9000) square feet in area. <br /> <br />110 <br />
