<br />, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />governing body that the First Baptist Church claims the owner- <br /> <br />ship of the following described property: <br /> <br />Block Twenty-seven (27) in the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />Hays County. Texas, known as the Old Cemetery property. <br />It was unanimously agreed that the property above <br />described now owned by the Oity is not used for any municipal <br /> <br />purposes, and is not needed for any muniCipal purpose, but <br /> <br /> <br />that the above described property now claimed by the First Baptist <br /> <br /> <br />Church is needed for municipal purposes, and that it would be to <br /> <br />the advantage of the City to exchange the land now owned by it <br />for the land claimed by the said Baptist Ohurch. After a full <br /> <br />discussion of all matters pertaining thereto, a resolution was <br />unanimously adopted to the effect that the Mayor of the City of <br />San Marcos be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to make, <br />execute, aCknOWledge and deliver a deed conveying the property <br />above described now owned by the City to the First Baptist ChUrch <br />of San Marcos, and, contemporaneously therewith, to receive from <br />the said Church a deed conveying to the City of San Marcos the <br />above described property now owned by said Church, the deed from <br />the Church to the City to be a deed without warranty. <br /> <br />THE STA TE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />COUNTY <br /> <br />OF <br /> <br />HAYS <br /> <br />BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this day <br />personally appeared Carlyn Tat,sch. known to me to be a credible <br />person, who. after having been duly sworn, did upon oath state <br />that the above and foregoing is a true and correct excerpt from <br />the minutes of a meeting of the governing body of the City of San <br />Marcos held at the usual meeting place of said governing body, <br /> <br />and that she is the custodian of the minutes of said meeting. <br /> <br />~~~ <br />Carl at ch <br /> <br />J <br />
