SPECIAL ~EETI~~ HELD ON DECEIABER 31. 1957 --W /C;,;;, On this, the 31st day of December, 1957, at 2:00 o'clock P. M., the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, met in special session at the City Hall of San Marcos, Texas, with the following members present and participating: I Mayor C. M. Allen Alderman S. R. Beecroft Alderman W. M. Davis Alderman B. D. Hillburn Alderman Herman Korff Alderman H. W. Steakley Also present were: B. R. FUller, City Manager Carlyn Tatch, City Secretary Walter Buckner Bob Van Gundy Paul Rogers The Wayor announced that this meeting was called for the purpose of receiving certain territories and the inhabitants thereof into the city limits into the City of San ~~rcos. Alderman Hillburn presented an Ordinance to receive the Park Addition into the city limits, said ordinance was read in full and is cap- tioned as follows: AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY, AND THE INHABITA~~S THEREOF, ADJOINING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN W~RCOS, INTO SAID CITY OF SAN ~~RCOS. Alderman Hillburn moved its adoption, which motion was seconded by Alderman Korff and upon roll call the Ayes and Nayes were as follows: I AYES: Alderman S. n. Beecroft Alderman 'II. M. Davis AldermanB. D. Hillburn Alderman Herman Korff Alderman H. 'II. Steakley NAYES, None Whereupon the Mayor declared the Ordinance passed, approved and adopted. Alderman Beecroft presented an Ordinance to receive the Cedar Plateau (Westover) Addition into the city limits, said ordinance was read in full and is captioned as follows: AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY, AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF, ADJOINING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, INTO SAID CITY OF SAN ~~RCOS. Alderman Beecroft moved its adoption which motion was seconded by Alderman Steakley and upon roll call the Ayes and Nayes were as follows: AYES: Alderman S. R. Beecroft Alderman VI. Mf Davis Alderman B. D. Hillburn I Alderman Herman Korff Alderman H. W. Steakley NAYES: None Whereupon the Mayor declared the Ordinance passed, approved and adopted. Alderman Davis presented an Ordinance to receive the Spring Lake Hills Estates Addition into the city limits, said ordinance was read in full and is captioned as follows: AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY, AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF, ADJOINING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, INTO SAID CITY OF SAN MARCOS.
