Steakley <br />None <br /> <br />NAYES: <br /> <br />Whereupon the Mayor declared the ordinance passed, approved and <br /> <br />adopted. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Secretary was directed to notify the Fire Department as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Effective as of midnight, December 31, 1957, the equipment <br />of the San Marcos Fire Department will not be used in fight- <br />ing fires outside of the City Limits, except in the follow- <br />ing instances: <br /> <br />1. Those instances in which the San Marcos Fire <br />Department has a mutual support agreement, <br />such as the agreement we now have with Camp <br />Gary. <br />2. Those instances in which, in your judgment, <br />a neighboring ci. ty is faced with an emergency <br />which that city is unable to control with it's <br />own equipment. <br /> <br />BY ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS.
