./ 7/ , AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY, AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF, ADJOINING THE CORPOFATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, INTO SAID CITY OF SAN MARCOS. Heretofore, by instrument duly filed in the offices of the City of San Marcos, a municipal corporation in Hays County, Texas, operating under the General Law, three inhab- itants of the hereinafter described territory made affidavit to the effec t tha t a ma jori ty of the inha bHants of sa id terri- tory, qua lified to vote for members of the State Legislature, voted in favor of becoming a part of said city; and this Governing Body, having examined said affidavit, and having examined the written instrument by Which said majority of said inhabitants voted in favor of becoming a part of this city, does here now find that said territory adjoins the present city limits I line; that said territoJyis less than one-half mile in width; that a majority of the inhabitants of said territory qualified to vote for members of the State Legislature have voted in fa vor of becoming a part of this city; that three of sa 1d in- habitants of said territory have made affidavit to the Mayor of this city to the foregoing facts; that the Mayor of this c1ty has certified, and does here now certify, such facts to the Governing Body of thi.s city; that sa id territory, and the in- habitants thereof,under the law and under the foregoing facts, should be received as a part of this City; that said territory is 'I I described as follows by metes and bounds: BEGINNING at a point in the present City Limit line, which point is the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 3, Hofheinz & Garol Addition, and ~ THENCE in a Northwesterly direction to the Southwest corner of Lot 6 of the .J.
