That the territory above described by metes <br />and bounds, and the inhabitants thereof, be, and are hereby, re- <br />ceived as a part of the City of San Marcos, and from henceforth <br />said territory shall be a part of this City and the inhabitants <br />thereof shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of other <br /> <br />citizens, and bound by the acts and ordinances of this Governing <br /> <br />Body. <br /> <br />Sec. 2.
