<br />30 <br /> <br />The Presiding Judge for purposes of delivering the returns of Absentee Voting <br />shall be Irene Trinidad and the Alternate Judge shall be Mrs. Robert Finnie. <br /> <br />The presiding judges shall be authorized to select two voters, who are eligible <br />for appointment, to serve as election clerks, and said election shall be held in <br />accordance wi th all election laws of the State of Texas. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the Presiding Judge for the central counting station be <br />Dr. Wilborn Davis and the Counting Station Supervisor be Ruth Ann Hoch. Dr. Davis <br />is hereby authorized to appoint the clerks to serve at the counting station. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Tha t a copy of this Ordinance be delivered to the presiding <br />judge of each election precinct in which the election is ordered to be held, <br />which copy shall serve as a writ of election notifying said official of the <br />official's duty to hold said election, the location of the polling places and the <br />hours during which the polls shall be kept open. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. That the rate of pay for judges and clerks of the election shall <br />be two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour for each judge or clerk, provided <br />that no judge or clerk shall be paid for IIDre than one hour of work before the <br />polls open; and, provided further, that each clerk at the central counting station <br />who serves the full time that the counting station is in operation shall be entitled <br />to a minimum of three hours pay regardless of the number of hours worked. The <br />judge who delivers the returns of election shall be paid twenty dollars ($20 .00) . <br /> <br />SECTION 5. That a test of the autonatic tablulating equiprœnt be perfonœd <br />pursuant to Article 7.15-20 (f) of the Texas Election Code prior to the start of <br />the count of the ballots. Public notice of the tine and place of the test shall <br />be given at least 48 hours prior thereto by publication once in the San Iviarcos <br />Daily Record. <br /> <br />SECTION" 6.
