The attention of the Board of Equali~ation is also directed to the land values established by the proper- ty owners in offering their property for fair sale to either public agencies or private buyers. This motion was seconded by Alderman Davis and unanimously approved by the Council. The City Manager was instructed to notify the Board of Equalization of the Council's request. C;:J e::l The Council approved the request for an increase in the width of the easement required around the south end of the north-south runway at the airport from 20 feet to 30 feet. The Mayor was authorized to execute the I easement on behalf of the City. Alderman Korff reported that Mr. Reedy Howard had requested a parking permit for parking his delivery truck in front of his property on Austin Street. Mr. Korff explained that there is no rear entrance to the building. On motion Alderman Korff, seconded by Alderman Steakley and unanimously approved, Mr. Howard's request for a parking permit was approved. There being no further business, the Mayor, at 3.15 P. M., declared the meeting adjourned.
