<br />Bids requested are :for furnish-
<br />ing all necessary labor, superin-
<br />tendence, machinery, equipment,
<br />tools, materials, services and oth-
<br />'€-r means of construction to com~
<br />plete all the work as provided by
<br />the specifications as shown on
<br />the plans.
<br />Each proposal shall be pCCOJi>>-
<br />panied by a certified check, or
<br />cashier's check, upon a bank of
<br />the State of Texas, or a bidder's
<br />bond by surety licensed in the
<br />State of Texas, in an amount not
<br />]ess than five per, cent (5%) of
<br />the total amount hid, as. a guar-
<br />anty that the, successful bidder
<br />'wlli enter into a contract and
<br />_ execute bond and guaranty on
<br />. the forms provided, within ten
<br />(10) days after notice of award I
<br />of contract.

<br />be examined without charge at
<br />these locations, or. will be for-
<br />warded to prospective contractors
<br />or suppliers upon deposit of $10.00
<br />with the City of Sarf 'Marcos. De~
<br />posits wEl be returned upon de-
<br />livery to the owner of the planS
<br />and specifications in good condi-
<br />tion within five days after the
<br />bid opening.
<br />Notice is given by the govern-
<br />ing body of the City of San Mar-
<br />COS1 Texas, that the right is re~
<br />served to finance, if necessary,
<br />the whole .or any part of the con-
<br />struction cost with City of San
<br />. Marcos Sewage Treatment Plant
<br />Improvement Warrants to ma..
<br />ture within five (5) years and at
<br />an interest rate of not more' than
<br />four per cent (4%) per annum.
<br />The right is reserved, as the
<br />interest of the City of San Mar-
<br />cos, Texas, may require, to re- I
<br />jed any or all bids and to waive
<br />informalities in bidding. In case
<br />'of ambiguity or lack of clearness
<br />'" in stating the prices in any bid,
<br />the city reserves the right to con-
<br />sider the most advantageous con-
<br />struction thereof, or to reject the
<br />bid.
