A.D., 1959, by and between the CITY OF SAN MARCOS, of the County of Hays and State of Texas, acting through its Mayor thereunto duly authorized so to do, Party of the First Part, here- inafter termed CITY, and INTERNATIONAL AERIAL MAPPIn3 COMPANY, of the City of San Antonio, County of Bexar and State of Texas, Party of the Second Part, hereinafter termed CONTRACTOR; WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the payments and agreements hereinafter mentioned, to be made and performed by the Party of the First Part (CITY), the Party of the Second Part (CONTRACTOR) hereby agrees with the said Party of the First Part to commence and complete the aerial photography, mosaics and mapping as called for in the Specifications, and at his (their) expense to furnish all the services, cameras, supplies, equipment, labor, insurance, other accessories and services necessary to complete the work as called for in the Invitation to Bid, Specifications, and Bidding Data all of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof. The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to begin work promptly after written notice to commence work shall have been given him by the CITY and to substantially complete the work within 120 calendar days after the date of the written notice to commence work has been given. The work shall consist of preC1Slon aerial photography of an area not to exceed twenty-five (25) square miles encompassing the City of San Marcos and environs, in full accordance with the speci- fications; the furnishing of photo atlas sheets, suitably bound, on a scale of 1" = 200'; and, wall mosaics on a scale of 1" = 500'. The CITY agrees to pay the CONTRACTOR in current funds for the performance under the contract in accordance with the Bidding Data submitted therefor, subject to additions and deductions, and to make payment promptly upon delivery of an acceptable and satis- factory product in accordance with the Specifications. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties to these presents have executed this Agreement in the year and day first above written. THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS.
