<br />lS: <br />'253 <br /> <br />years, as provided in Proposition Two above, the term of office <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />of all officers of the City of San Marcos, Texas, elected (or <br /> <br />appointed) on April 7, 1959, and thereafter, shall be for four <br /> <br />years, or until their successorS have been dUly qualified, and <br /> <br />after April 7, 1959, any vacancy or vacancies occurring on the <br /> <br />governing body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, shall be filled <br /> <br />by a majority vote of the qualified voters at a special election <br /> <br />called for such purpose within 120 days after such vacancy or <br /> <br />vacancies occur. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. The Chief of Police shall post a properly executed copy <br /> <br />of the election proclamation and notice at the place (places) where <br /> <br />the election is to be held.
