7/-1' STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS ~-, This agreement is entered into this the 1st day of August, A.D., 1959, by and between the City of San Marcos, a Municipal Corporation, located in the County of Hays, State of Texas, hereinafter called the CITY, acting herein by and through its Mayor, duly authorized, and Beretta Greenslade & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, a co~pora- tion with its principal offices located in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, hereinafter called ENGINEER, acting by and through Willia. F. Greenslade, Jr., its Executive Vice President. I. The City hereby agrees to employ the Engineer and the Engineer agrees to perform all professional services hereinafter mentioned. ~I II. The employment and services herein contemplated are in connection wi th progralllllling, planning, and construction of a bridge, approximately 160 feet in length, across the San Marcos River at its intersection with East Hopkins Street, and includes a grading plan for the approaches required from the bridge site to the existing streets on either side of the river. III. The Engineer agrees to furnish the profe.sional services of quali- fied engineers, assistants, and/or other employees of his staff to render such professional engineering services as are required for the prepara- tion of such plans and specifications for the proposed bridge 8S followsl I-I ,- A.
