The road to be 60 feet in width and with no charge to the city for curb and gutters. Alderman Korff seconded and, upon roll call, the ayes and nays were, AYE:>, I NAYS:, AYES: NAY:>: Route throuqh Cullen Crews ProPerty: Alderman Korff Hillburn Tuttle Alderman Davis Beecroft Route throuqh Zunker Property: Aldeman Davis Beecroft Aldeman Korff Hillburn Tuttle Whereupon the Mayor declared the route through Cullen Crews property to be the preferred route. Mayor Allen asked Aldermen Beecroft to act as a committee to contact Mr. Zunker and Alderman Korff and Tuttle as a committee to contact Mr. Crews in regard to the dedication of property for street purposes. I A request has been made for a stop sign to be placed at the intersection of Lindsey and Comanche Streets, stop to be on Lindsey. Alderman Korff moved that the city place stop signs on Lindsey at the Comanche street intersection and on all alleys entering into the square and within a one block area of the square. Included in this motion, that a sign be placed on Faris street at the Johnson Avenue intersection. Alderman Hillburn seconded, motion carried. Alderman Hillburn moved that the City purchase Lot 5, Block 4 Dan McKie 1st Addition for the purpose of developing a park area for the colored people of San Marcos. This lot is being sold by the School District, in a delinquent tax suit. Alderman Beecroft seconded, motion carried.
