<br />C4 <br /> <br />~ <br />::t:l <br />~ <br />n <br />~ <br /> <br />The Council discussed the matter of a "trustee" to act for the <br />City on the property which is heing deeded to the City as a result of <br />the sale of property to satisfy tax judgements. Alderman Hillhurn moved <br />that the City Manager be appointed "sales Agent" for this property under <br />the provisions and authority of Article 7345h VRCS. This motion was <br />seconded by Alderman Beecroft and carried. <br /> <br />The City Manager was asked to absent himself from the meeting. <br />Alderman Tuttle reminded the Council that the City Manager had been <br />promised a salary increase in April 1959, which he had refused, and <br />again in April 1960. He stated that he thought the Manager's salary <br />should be increased and moved that the City Manager's salary be <br />increased by $1,000.00 per annum effective as of January 1, 1961.
