<br />Ii' <br />/ <br />'" <br /> <br />City Manager FUller reported requests for street lights at the follow- <br />ing locations and recommended the installation: <br />306 Farris, 6 on Gravel Street and I on Porter <br />Alderman Sutton made a motion to accept the city managers recommendation. <br />Alderman Ruiz seconded and the roll call was as follows: <br />Ayes: Allen, Hillhurn, Korff, Sutton, Ruiz, Younger <br />Nayes; None <br />Mayor Allen declared the motion passed. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Manager made a study of the Barhara Drive-Sherharb areas and <br />recommended that 'stop signs' be placed on Barbara at Martindale Road and on <br />Sherbarb at Barhara. Alderman Hillburn moved that 'stop signs' he erected as <br />recommended and to include 3 signs at Patton and Roosevelt 3-way intersection <br />with stops on Roosevelt at Patton and stop on Comacho at Patton. Alderman <br />Ruiz seconded and upon roll call the ayes and nayes were as follows: <br />Ayes I Allen, Hillburn, Korff, Ruiz, Sutton, Younger <br />Nayesl None <br />Whereupon Mayor Allen declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The Building Inspector has reported that Section 107 of the Building <br />Code provides for the appointment of a BOARD OF APPEALS for Building Code <br />interpretation and matters pertaining to huilding construction. No such board <br />is now appointed and the nature of the present construction requires that <br />such a hoard be appointed. The board shall consist of five (5) members <br />appointed for 5,4,3,2 and 1 year terms. Upon the expiration of the appoint- <br />ment of any member his successor shall be appointed for a 5 year term. The <br />members shall serve without pay. The following persons were recommended to <br />serve for the terms as indicated; <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />J. B. Roberts 5 years <br />Hugh Snellings 4 <br />S. R. Beecroft 3 <br />Paul Hobson 2 <br />Richard Pustejovsky 1 <br />Alderman Sutton moved the appointment he accepted as recommended. Alderman <br />Korff seconded and the roll call was as follows: <br />Ayes: Allen, Hillburn, Korff, Ruiz, Sutton, Younger <br />Nayes: None <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that right-of-ways have heen obtained for <br />sewer extension for the Wide-Lite Corporation project and that work is to begin <br />immediately. <br /> <br />There being no further business, the Council, on motion, adjourned <br />at 3:20 P.
