<br />I.;,..:; <br />J <br />, <br /> <br />RESOLutiON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, !'he City Council has seen fit to refer the proposed <br />contract for the use of the San Marcos Golf Course to !'he City <br />Planning Commission for recommendation on action to be taken; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, we have made the following findings: <br /> <br />(1) That a golf course along with other recreational <br />facilities is of unquestioned value to the city and its <br />growth; <br /> <br />(2) That the citizens of San Marcos and the many tourist <br />attracted,by our ever growing recreational industry should <br />be assured of a permanent golf course. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, we resolve that the City enter into a lease <br />with the present owner of the present golf course at the best pos- <br />sib Ie terms; and, <br /> <br />FURTHER, the Planning Commission recommends that the City take <br />steps to investigate the advisability of building a municipally owned <br />golf course as a part of the orderly growth of !'he City's recreation <br />program. <br /> <br />PASSED this 12th day of February, AD, 1963. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />I <br />
