Alderman Ruiz said it would mean additional work <br />for Mr. Fuller, and would take five years to accomplish; <br />hI can't go along with your trying to do it, Mr. Fuller". <br />The City Manager called attention to the fact that $1200 was already <br />budgeted for Micro-film equipment. It was mutually agreed that the <br />City Manager should ask for bids on a Micro-film duplicator. No <br />further action was taken on codmfmcation. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that chemicals had been ordered for the sewer <br />for temporary elimination of the odor near the Lift Station. <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that the Lower Colorado River Authority has <br />installed 38 street lights in the northwest section of the City <br />(McNaughton, College Courts and Park Additions). A circuit has been <br />installed in the Victory Garden area, which will accomodate 16 lights. <br />A total of 52 lights were authorized for the area. The project should <br />be completed in the near future. ' <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Manager Items having been taken care of, Alderman Swift <br />questioned Mr. Fuller on nine matters of old business which he had <br />asked to be included on the agenda at 4105 p.m. the day of the meeting. <br />They included a request for a progress report on the Wallace Addition <br />sewer project; date of delivery of the radar unit; amount and percentage <br />of City tax collections as of Jan. 31, 1963; Public Works signs; <br />Tom Oliver's comments on the Sub-division Ordinance; action taken to <br />bring amount of fine collections in the Police Department up to par; <br />traffic control on Loop 82 at Aquarena; traffic light at Guadalupe and <br />Comal. The City Manager explained that his request had come in too late <br />to get all the information, such as the percentage of taxes collected <br />by Jan. 31st. He stated that 56 connections had been made in the Wallace <br />Addition; that March 5th was the promised date of delivery for the radar <br />unit; that the Public Works signs had arrived and would be put out at once; <br />that Mr. Oliver had not given his opinion on the City's SUb-division <br />Ordinance; that there was no firm date of delivery for the signal light. <br /> <br />Alderman Ruiz stated he was obliged to leave the meeting at 8125 and <br />wished to present a letter of appreciation to Mr. Fuller for the excellent <br />manner in which he organized and carried out the arrangements for the <br />Dinner for Judge C.M. Decker on February 19th. He asked that the City <br />Secretary attest the signatures, place the city Seal on it, and make it a <br />part of the official Minutes. <br /> <br />Alderman Stokes informed the city Manager that Mr. Marion Parker and a <br />number of other residents of Chestnut Street wish to discuss coming into <br />the City Limits. <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro-Tem declared <br /> <br />the meetin~~~'ourned :t 8;37 p.m. <br /> <br />- F'-~IY'" y).
