adjourned regular meeting, may 28, 1963 page three ., / D 3- Alderman Moore seconded the motion for adoption, and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Moore, Pool, Ruiz, Stokes, Swift NAY: None Whereupon, the Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. I Alderman Pool moved that the Council ratify the deeding of an alley to Charles A. Zunker, authorized at the May 14, 1963 meeting. Alderman Moore seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: ABST AINING: Moore, Pool, Ruiz, Swift None Stokes \Vhereupon, the Mayor declared the motion carried. Alderman Stokes moved the adoption of a Resolution commending the Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring the Water Safari, with special mention of Usnager Frank Brown. Alderman Moore seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. In compliance with the Council's previous request, the City Manager gave a report on the cost of getting water to St. John'S playing field. The pastor of St. John's Church stated to Mr. Fuller that the parish was not interested in spending any money on the project at the present time. The City IIBnager's request for permission to attend the meeting of the Texas City Managers Association in Cmrpus Christi, June 16-18, was granted by common consent.
