, ". .. _/C!fcL ,,' " right to sooner terminate this contract for cause, glvmg unto Second Party not less than thirty (30) days written notice of such intention with a statement of the cause or reasons for such intention to terminate and giving Second Party a reasonable oppor- tunity to explain or rectify same. In the event of such termination, Second Party shall be entitled to receive and retain all compensation on the basis allowed hereunder which shall thereby have become due up to the date of such termination. 8. It is further agreed and understood that this Contract is one for personal services of the Second Party and is not, and shall not be, transferable or assignable, transferred or assigned, without the written consent and approval of First Party being obtained. It is also agreed that Second Party shall be provided by First Party, in the offices of said City, space which will permit convenient access to the records of said City concerned with, and for, the purposes of carrying out this Contract. 9.
