<br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereinafter referred to as
<br />the "Agency", and the City of jan Marcos, Texas, a municipal
<br />corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City".

<br />WHEREAS, the Agency is a public body corporate and politic,
<br />created by the laws of the 3tate of Texas pertaininr thereto,

<br />i!ranted by said laws; and

<br />WHEREAS, the Agency, with the Aid and cooperation of the
<br />City"i'proposes .to undertake and carry out an .Urban Renewal Program
<br />int;h"e Pity of 3an~~arcos,Te,xas ,includinr: the Chautauqua Hill
<br />Urban'/Renewal Proje ct, No. Tex. R-7J, hereinafter called the
<br />"ProJect"; in accordance wi th the Urban Renewal Plan for said
<br />proSect.. , here.tofore appro'v-ed by the City Council of the City of
<br />San MarC08, Texas, whichPlan bears date.of6th day of August
<br />196).ilnd'pursuant to the. provisions of the laws of the StOlte
