Luling, Texas, meeting in regular <br />session at the City Hall in Luling,Texas, witfu all members <br />present and voting, adopted the following resolntion by <br />unanimous vote: <br /> <br />11 ,'JHEREAS the property lmOl.lfJ as Ca.rnp Gar;". has been <br />declared surplus by the Federal Gover=ent, and <br /> <br />~nEREAS this property could best serve this Co~m- <br />unity, State and ~ation if used for educational <br />purposes, and <br /> <br />\1ilillREAS this Community is in need of a Trade or <br />Vocational school for its citizens, and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1/vBEI1EAS it is f.'elt that thB greatest value could <br />be obtained for the Camp Gary property, from it's <br />use as a unit for educational purposes: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Commission <br />of the City of.' Luling, Texas endorse the action of <br />the Camp Gary Steering Comctittee in it's efforts to <br />secure the Camp Gary property for a trade school <br />under a Federal Government program. <br /> <br />Adopted and approved thi s the 14th day of January, 1964.
