<br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Mack M. Morris,
<br />rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, gave the Invocation.
<br />
<br />Minutes of the previous meetings were approved as presented.
<br />
<br />Mayor Taylor administered the Oath of Office to the three neW members of
<br />the Council: Aldermen Ellis Serur, A.G. Tuttle and Mark H. Whittenberg.
<br />
<br />Alderman Ruiz nominated Alderman Pool as Mayor Pro-Tempore. Alderman
<br />IVhittenberg nominated Alderman Serur. On roll call, the Aldermen cast
<br />their votes in the following manner:

<br />The Mayor declared Alderman Snur elected Mayor Pro-Tempore for the
<br />coming year.
<br />
<br />Alderman Pool introduced a Resolytion setting the time of meeting for
<br />the second Monday of each month, at 7:30 p.m. Alderman Ruiz seconded
<br />the motion. Different nights of the week were discussed as possibilities,
<br />but it was found there would be conflicts with other mmportant meetings
<br />in the community. The question being called for, the following vote was
<br />recorded:
